Jeff and I rode together almost once a week after he fully retired. We would spend hours together on the phone planning and refining routes to convert to GPX files to use on our local rides as well as our club rallies. He was always sure to point out how his route was better than mine. 😁 He would make me laugh as we tried to reach a compromise on our better plans. It was so much fun to debate with him knowing full well that he was enjoying the banter and teasing as much as I was.
Jeff was a good friend who put up with me on our 16 day trip down the Natchez Trace Parkway, Texas Hill Country, the Ozarks and home. He even ate at a Taco Bell with me. 😱 Anyone who knew Jeff knows how significant that was.
Every time I work on the club rides or plan a local ride I feel the urge to call Jeff. Alas it cannot be. 😪 He will truly be missed ever day of my life.
I actually heard the Taco Bell story from Jeff... 🤣

Had the best time sharing a room and story's with this incredible man in Austin TX. Watching the MotoGP race live with him and receiving his vast knowledge of motorsports and motorcycles as a whole is a memory I shall carry with me for the rest of my life.
My family and I were blessed knowing Jeff, even if for a short while. We met Jeff a few years ago in a US Desmo rally, and quickly became friends. We were introduced to his family and friends shortly thereafter, and the friendship grew closer.
Jeff had a special kind of charisma. It was the quiet kind. Its power came from the fact that he was a lot of fun to be with, always thinking of enjoyable things we can do together. But more importantly, he was always available when you needed help, advice or just wanted to run something by him. He was a good friend.
Jeff was a good, generous, loving and funny man. We miss him.

This is such a great resource of fun trips around NC, SC, TN and more.
Enjoy the journey, but ride safely.
Looking forward to more wonderful rides in the new year.
